The Napoleonic wars were a period of time that changes the face of Europe and in many ways ushered in the modern world. It should be little wonder then that many wargamers find the period fascinating, both because of the figures involved such as, Blucher, Wellington and of course Napoleon himself as well as the battles and forces involved.
For the wargamer, Napoleonic forces offer a feast of colour and variety. From the sombre green of the Rifles to the flamboyant Hussars to the gleaming breastplates of the Cuirassiers a Napoleonic battlefield is not short on colour.
It should not be a surprise to find that there are several Napoleonic forces in the collections of the BAD-Wargamers members in a variety of scales.
