Mission Statement

A group of individuals who meet to play all types of miniature wargames in a relaxed atmosphere.

Committees

Club Committee – Responsible for organising club meeting dates each year.

The Club Committee is made up of the Club Officers.

Officers

Club Chairman – Responsible for chairing club committee meetings and breaking ties votes. Is a signatory on the club bank account.

Club Secretary – Responsible for all official club communication. Is a signatory on the club bank account.

Club Treasurer – Responsible for managing the club finances including collecting subscriptions at meetings. Is a signatory on the club bank account.

In the absence of the Club Treasurer, any committee member may collect subscriptions at meetings.

Terms of office

Officers will serve for 2 years in post after which elections shall take place and the membership shall vote to either re-elect or select new Officers from the membership. The Officers have the right to resign their positions by giving the Club 3 months notice.

Meeting Schedule

Club Meetings

Club Meetings shall aim take place every other Sunday, but will be moved so that the meeting does not fall on a Bank Holiday weekend.

The purpose of Club Meetings is to play miniature wargames in a relaxed atmosphere.

Annual General Meetings

The Club shall hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) once per year. This shall take place at one of the scheduled Club Meetings.

Other meetings

An Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) can be called by any two of the Club membership. This will be organised for the next scheduled Club Meeting.

The Committee shall meet once a year to review the Club Accounts.

Quorum

There is no quorum for a Club Meeting as there are no matters that require a vote.

The quorum for an AGM and EGM shall consist of all Committee members and a minimum of two non-committee members.

Rules of Order

All meetings shall operate under the following rules:

  1. Members shall be polite to all present at the meeting.
  2. Members shall be aware of others around them and moderate their language as appropriate.
